    Network Services

Our associates are specialists in networking and security with the experience gained over many years in the Enterprise, ISP and Satellite Service Provider sectors. Being a vendor-agnostic organisation, we can ensure giving a non-biased advice, with a focus on industry standards and best practices. The expertise is in design, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting of topologies of all sizes.

Some of the projects they have carried out include:

    • Replacing Huawei Firewalls for a Mobile Network Service Provider
    • Designing and implementation of Eight Data centres for a Satellite Service Provider across the world (Greece, Italy, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand)
    • Part of the team involved in designing and deploying Security solution for next generation Aircraft Tracking system co-funded by ESA
    • Migration and replacement of Cisco firewalls with Palo Alto Network Firewalls
    • Deployment of feature rich Palo Alto Firewalls in various parts of the network
    • Migration of HP NNM, Cisco Works, Cacti with Stablenet Network Monitoring solution and moving 3000 nodes across to the new platform
    • Integration of IMB’s Qradar SIEM solution in network for SOC team
    • Replacement of 65+ End-of-life equipment for UK’s leading Mobile Network Service Provider
    • Extensive experience in rolling out Network Best Practices by working closely with Cisco and Juniper for 5000+ devices for UK’s leading Mobile Network Service Provider
    • Preparing Bill of material, writing High Level, Low level and Physical Design documents, negotiating work package with sub-contractors and presenting Design Architecture changes to number of stake holders.
    • Securely connecting Local and Remote offices for various clients using IPsec VPN solution

The team is fully qualified, holding accreditation with manufacturers such as Cisco (CCIE), Juniper (JNCIE), and Palo Alto (ACE), Huawei Firewall and switching, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst).

The engineers can perform an overall health check of your network. They can map out and analyse all facets of your current infrastructure with the aim of identifying issues surrounding:

    • Network bottlenecks
    • Network loops
    • Security issues
    • Traffic segregation
    • Redundancy & resilience (physical & logical)
    • Traffic / resource monitoring

Once the engineers are intricately familiar with your network, they can make recommendations based on any issues highlighted during the diagnosis stage and general findings which are based around best practices.

These recommendations will be made formally available in a written report. This report will also outline a road map of required work as well as detailing findings. Each highlighted issue and associated work package is given a severity rating to allow you to take effective, timely, remedial action where necessary.

The team can fully define, scope and plan your projects, perform regular checkpoint meetings to keep you up to date on progress and issues. They can highlight Risks and mitigations. Additionally they can document the deviations from the original plan.

  • Robotic Process Automation

    Robotic Process Automation

Robotics Process Automation (RPA) allows organisations to automate tasks just as if a human being was doing them across applications and systems. Robotic automation interacts with the existing IT architecture with no complex system integration required.

It can be used to automate workflow, infrastructure, back office process which are labour intensive. These software bots can interact with in-house applications, websites, user portals etc. RPA is a software program which runs on an end user’s PC, laptop or mobile device. It is a sequence of commands which are executed by bots under some defined set of business rules.

The main goal of RPA is to replace repetitive and boring clerical tasks performed by humans, with a virtual workforce.

A simple example is when in any organisation, you need to fetch the bank statement, the steps involved are:

    1. Open the browser
    2. Type in the URL of the Bank
    3. Go to the login page
    4. Enter the login and password
    5. Select the option of downloading the statement
    6. Select the account number
    7. Select the period for which the statement is required
    8. Select the format in which you wish to download the statement (Maybe xlsx, pdf or csv)
    9. Download the file
    10. Rename the downloaded file to the convention defined
    11. Mail the file or maybe just save it in a specific folder
    12. What if all these 11 steps could be automated so that it could be achieved unattended at scheduled times of the week / month?

This is what RPA would be able to do.

While this is a very basic example, RPA can do complex but routine steps on a regular basis. All that we need to do is list down all the actions that happen on the screen in detail.

RPA can be used across all verticals ranging from Finance to Manufacturing to e commerce to Telecom.

  • Software Development

At Rincon, we believe there is no “one size fits all” solution on this planet. Each customer is unique and so are the requirements. We therefore first understand the client’s business operations and then propose a solution which is the right fit for their line of business. Based on the feedback from the client, modifications are made and the solution evolves.

To put the whole process in perspective, we first analyse the needs of the customer and propose a solution. Based on the approved proposal, we design the solution. Then the development work starts. No development can be bug free and so the solution is subjected to rigorous testing. We finally hand over the solution to the client and also train their team members on using and maintaining the solution.

    Technologies we use include:

    • Ruby on Rails
    • PHP – WordPress, WooCommerce, Drupal, OSCommerce and other CMS
    • IOS / Android APP development (Native / Hybrid)
    • Cloud Migration
    • Open Source ERP

  • Fixed Asset Audit

    Fixed Asset Audit

Asset auditing is a physical verification process. It is akin to comparing an organisation’s “official list” of assets as on the books with the actual assets physically located. By conducting this examination you are confirming that the assets listed on an organisation’s balance sheet are real (or exist physically).

Establishing the existence and location of an organisation’s assets along with evaluation of their usable condition is a crucial business task for organisations of any size.

It involves physically auditing of the assets followed by reconciliation of this data with the asset register. This is critical for operational and financial reasons.

Tracking assets that are mobile (portable) and ensuring they are available, in good condition and locatable is a critical aspect for any organisation. We at Rincon can handle complete physical audits that include all your locations, which can typically be completed 90% quicker (and definitely more accurate) than a manual paper and pen approach since we use different tags depending on the need.

Assets can broadly be classified into 3 categories after audit:

    • Available and good to use
    • Available but not fit for use
    • Not available at all

Our reports generated classify the assets into either of these three categories and then based on the Management’s decision, the items in the second basket maybe sent for repairs / renewal etc. The third basket items may be written off.
